Sea Freight

Sea freight is cost effective for shipments which are not urgent and very suited to large imports and exports. If you are importing or exporting goods such as furniture or vehicles between countries sea freight will be much cheaper than air freight, which makes it perfect for industries selling these kinds of stocks or if you’re moving house.

Sea freight has a much smaller carbon footprint than air freight so it is a much more environmentally friendly choice for transporting goods internationally.

We have contracts with the world’s largest international carriers and can easily secure space on sea freight movements worldwide. We only use the most trusted sea freight companies. Our extensive network of agents and partners allows our clients to benefit from a cost-effective package that can be tailored to their individual needs and service requirements.

A wide range of sizes of cargos and types of cargos can easily be transported by sea freight. Either you can send a Full Container Load (FCL) or a Less-than Container Load (LCL). In the case of a LCL we can consolidate your cargo with other shipments into a FCL and the cost of transport is distributed among the customers based on the amount of space they need. If you are solely sending a package and not pallets or containers we recommend not using sea freight as it would not be cost-effective and packaging your consignment safely will be difficult.

EASY TRACKING  | PROOF OF DELIVERY  |  DOOR TO DOOR DELIVERIES  |  SAME DAY COLLECTION AVAILABLE

Generally, ships take 40 or 20 containers, sealed at origin. All international shipments require completed customs clearance procedures of each country they arrive at, and some goods may require inspections by customs.

Door to door options are generally still available and we can generally offer sea to land freight to get your consignments to your destination. You will require a commercial invoice containing HS/commodity codes if using sea freight and if you are sending personal effects, you will need a proforma invoice from us and a packing list. 3 copies of the Invoice must be attached to the pallet. Our customer service team will keep you right every step of the way.
